Right, so I going to be a sophomore in high school, and school starts tomorrow. [ugh].
So I'm a little nervous, for some reason. I'm taking AP classes and all that, so I'm worried I won't be able to do all the independent projects I've been thinking about, all the projects I have with kale. I have a lot going on all the time. And the fact that one of my laptop hinges are busted, I can't seem to be as mobile as I usually am. [I'm on the desktop right now].
It's interesting, though, how high school is. The love people find in it is usually fake, but we're all so desperate to find love that it doesn't matter. Adults look down on high school students, thinking they should just concentrate on studying. Well even if this isn't the time for love, it's the time where it's needed most. We shouldn't have to go through all this by ourselves, we should have someone that can do it with you.
But then again, that might be what friends are for. I can see it, now. Who my real friends are. And even though it scares me how each day I spend with them is a day closer to when I have to say goodbye to them. It must be sad, to know you have a set day to break things off with a friend, graduation. And although I love my friends to death, and say I'll always be there for them, I know I have plans of my own, and I know I won't be around for me to be there with them. But I'm glad. I'm glad I'm the only one among my friends that knows this. I am a writer, I think a lot. It's better that I'm the only one that suffers with this thought, I love seeing my friends happy. And maybe graduation isn't going to be the set day, but I know it'll make things a helluva lot harder.


But yeah, just checking up on things. Turns out I didn't have enough time for the sketches I've started. Sorry, Kale. For being the reason we're not where we're supposed to be on all the things we're doing.
